Lupang Hinirang, Perlas ng Silanganan, Umawit ka.

10 Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that fills it, the coastlands and their inhabitants.

11 Let the desert and its cities lift up their voice, the villages that Kedar inhabits; let the habitants of Sela sing for joy, let them shout from the top of the mountains.

12 Let them give glory to the LORD, and declare his praise in the coastlands. | Isaiah 42:10-12 ESV

Last May 17-19, a convergence of Burning Hearts happened in Vigan City. As a praying community, we’re honored to host the Burning Hearts Conference Philippines again. Vigan House of Prayer has been hosting the said conference for three consecutive years already, and every year, the Lord always calls us deeper into His purposes. Everytime we say yes to Him in this, He brings us to a place of deepening, embracing and understanding the Why behind our what– going back to our first love and saying “yes” again to the One Thing.

This year, we partnered with Gateway House of Prayer and Makati House of Prayer, which allowed a strengthening of hearts among us, and the spirit of unity was just released evidently. We also invited again our friends from Penang House of Prayer (Josh Yeoh) and Burning Hearts Singapore (Jason Chua) to encourage us in this gathering, alongside Stephen Ocampo from Gateway HOP and our very own James Lee Lacaden from VIGHOP. They have sowed in the prayer movement in the Philippines for the past few years and for them to come back and spark hearts here greatly provokes us to all the more pursue His glorious purposes for His Bride in our nation.

I felt that for the whole time during this gathering, we were reminded that the Philippines and all its islands has a prophetic destiny to sing new songs to the Lord; a new sound will arise– no, not echoes, but distinct voices singing out in agreement to the worthiness of Jesus!

The Spirit of Unity was clearly at work in our midst. I felt the Lord joining us in intercession, Him being pleased with our fragrant offering, our corporate agreement, especially when we prayed for the Philippines.

My eyes were again opened to the truth that the islands are in the heart of the Father. And He greatly desires that Jesus would receive His inheritance in the islands of the earth. For incense to rise in the Philippines islands is a dream in the heart of God. Isaiah prophesied about this in Isaiah 42:10.

More than just a prophecy, it is an invitation for us to partner with our Bridegroom King that will come back for His Bride that is faithful, pure, holy and unoffended. His divine invitation demands a response, and that is our human intention to say “yes” to Him. The Philippines will sing again! And our voices will be heard all across the earth. It’s a new day for our nation!

The Lord is still looking for hungry hearts and eyes that are gazing back at Him. Jesus, receive your inheritance in the islands of the Philippines! Let every tribe and tongue in this nation sing a new song to you that incense may arise and the knowledge of God be released in light of the Worth and Beauty of Jesus!

Lupang Hinirang, Perlas ng Silanganan, umawit ka para kay Hesus!

In behalf of Vigan House of Prayer, I’d like to say thank you to those who partnered with us in prayer, finances, words of encouragement and such– we are more than grateful (You know who you are). Our hearts are glad in knowing that you received revelation of the worthiness of the Son of God which encouraged you to sow in what the Lord is doing across the islands of the Philippines.

He is worth it all. Nothing has been wasted, when it is given into His hands for the gospel to go forth and for the advancement of His Kingdom!
