Having turned, I saw. | Part 5

Beloveds,

What the Lord did to my heart during the Internship was nothing less than a recalibration, even clarity for the next leg of the journey I’m in. It resulted to a rediscovering of how glorious this privilege is to be partnering with Jesus in what He is doing and desiring to do across the earth today. It cultivated a deeper hunger in me for the knowledge of Him; and caused my heart to burn again with fierce desire and longing for this Beautiful Man.
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,

13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest.

14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire,

15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters.

16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. | Revelation 1:12-16 ESV

John had his own “turn to see” encounter as well. And even just reading through this, my mind is blown at the magnitude of this moment that he had. I pray that when we hear His voice, or when we begin to hear Him calling us, may we respond in love and obedience; voluntarily offering our hearts to Him in absolute devotion, acknowledging His worth and holiness.
Jesus. Oh, Beautiful Jesus. Radiant One, You are worth it all. You are the WHY behind our what. You are the Hope of Glory living inside of us; the Anchor of our souls. We long for the Day of Your Appearing. We want You to fulfill Your calling and we say “YES” again in partnering with You til’ You receive the reward of Your suffering. We will watch and pray, and wait til’ the Day You come back in full glory.

Fulfill Your calling, Jesus! We’re here for You!

We miss You and we want You to come back.

For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name will be great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering. For my name will be great among the nations, says the LORD of hosts. | Malachi 1:11 ESV

“..Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.” | Acts 1:11 ESV

Til’ every islands sings,

Jian
